Hello​

Hi, y'all (yep, I'm Southern, born in Arkansas, long-time Mississippi resident). I just joined the group, and am looking forward to it. I am approaching age 73, am married, two grown children (one of each model), three granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-grandson. I retired from almost twenty years as a physics & mathematics teacher (went back to university to major in physics with math minor when I was 44.) I play drums for our church's worship band, and that's about all that's interesting about me. Oh, come November 19, my wife, Sydnie Lynn, and I will have been married 48 years. (No word from the Parole Board as of yet.) (Just kidding--she's my life.)

Congratulations in advance on 48 wonderful years with Sydnie Lynn, that’s an incredible milestone. You’ve got such a wonderful big family — I bet your grandkids and great-grandson keep life busy and full of joy. Your background in physics and mathematics is fascinating, and I think it’s inspiring that you went back to university at 44.
