I’m Becky from southern Indiana. Just joined today and I’m looking forward to all the really neat things I’ve seen on this site. My husband, Ray, is a Marine veteran, and we love to travel, and consider ourselves foodies…we always try at least one native dish from every place we visit. We love the outdoors, fishing, hiking, mushroom and paw paw hunting, as well! Glad to be a part of this site!

It sounds like you and Ray have an incredible sense of adventure—travel, great food, and the outdoors make for an amazing combination! We loved the traditional shrimp and rice in Oahu and Kauai, and there’s nothing better than a Navajo Taco made with native fry bread made on site. In Arkansas we were treated to Possum Pie…chocolate and vanilla pudding with whipped cream and pecans! Our personal favorites are the grilled lobster, Bahamian Peas and Rice, and the Mac and cheese from our trip to Exuma in the Bahamas! Hey, at our age, who needs a waistline?
