How to score free coffee at Sheetz—hot or iced, on the house

There is something about seasonal promotions that always captures attention, especially when they involve a daily ritual like coffee.

Companies often time these offers around cultural events or holidays, building both loyalty and buzz. Customers may see them as simple perks, but for businesses, they are a way to deepen connections and reward regulars.

With National Coffee Day approaching, one popular chain has rolled out an offer that has plenty of people talking.

Sheetz has announced that starting Monday, Sept. 29, which is National Coffee Day, customers can score a free hot or iced coffee through Oct. 1.

The deal is available at all of the chain’s 800+ locations, but there are some important conditions to keep in mind.

To qualify, customers need to be part of the Sheetz rewards program through a card, account, or app. Only one free coffee can be redeemed per customer during the promotional period.

The offer applies only to self-serve coffees, whether hot or iced, and includes any size. However, to unlock the free drink, another purchase must be made, though there are exclusions.

Fuel, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets, half-gallon and gallon milk, financial products, prepaid cards, and Sheetz gift cards do not count toward the qualifying purchase.

This makes the free coffee more of a bonus for regular shopping rather than a stand-alone giveaway.

Alongside this promotion, Sheetz has also rolled out a new fall-inspired beverage menu that adds even more seasonal flavor to the experience.

Customers can try drinks like Shpiced Honeycrisp Lemonade, a Cinnamon Roll Hot Latte, a Pumpkin Frozen Latte, and even a Cinnamon Roll Shake.

These additions lean into the fall flavors that have become seasonal staples for coffee drinkers everywhere.

For Sheetz, it is a chance to highlight creativity while offering customers fresh options beyond the free coffee.

The company has a track record of celebrating milestones and events with giveaways, reinforcing its community-driven reputation.

Earlier this year, Sheetz gave away free Sheetz Dogs at all locations to mark the opening of their 800th store.
