Hummus Pizza

A fun, unique twist on pizza with creamy hummus as the base and your favorite toppings piled on—this is the perfect dish for a light meal or a snack!

Ingredients:
  • 1 (8-inch) whole wheat pita bread
  • ½ cup hummus
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup black olives, sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the pita on a baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil.
  3. Spread hummus evenly over the pita, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced tomatoes, red onion, and black olives.
  5. Sprinkle with oregano and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the pita are crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
