Instruments Named After Female Legends
Elton John’s iconic performances often feature his trademark instrument which steals the spotlight. In 2011, he debuted a custom Yamaha that took four years to build and cost $1.3 million. This piano was named "Blossom" after jazz singer Blossom Dearie. He is known for naming his pianos after female singers and has honored legends like Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, and Diana Krall.
