The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a public health alert for fully cooked pork carnitas sold under the Park Street Deli brand at ALDI stores nationwide.
The concern? Potential contamination with small pieces of metal—caused by damaged equipment during production. The product was made by Cargill Meat Solutions between April 1 and 2, 2025, and although it’s no longer on store shelves, it could still be in your home.
