Kroger’s Easter meal kit feeds the family for just $6 a head—here’s what you get

With the season of springtime gatherings approaching, many households are thinking ahead to shared meals and special traditions.

But rising prices have made celebrating feel more stressful than joyful for some.

That’s why one major grocery retailer is stepping in with a low-cost holiday meal option that’s turning heads.

The offer includes a full spread at a price point that’s hard to beat—and it might be just what families need this Easter.

Kroger has brought back its value-packed Easter meal kit—a full eight-item spread priced to feed a family for just $6 per person.

From main dishes to sides and even dessert, this kit is designed to serve as both a solution for busy households and a budget-friendly alternative to shopping item by item.

Mary Ellen Adcock, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchant and Marketing Officer at Kroger, shared: “At Kroger, we make it easy to connect over food from simple weeknight dinners to family gatherings for Easter. That means everyday low prices on the items that matter most to our customers and keeping holiday staples affordable, ensuring families can enjoy special moments with a meal that brings them together.”

This year's Easter kit includes a combination of Kroger's store brands and familiar name brands, offering variety and quality in every bite:
  • Kroger® Brand Spiral Ham
  • Private Selection Wisconsin 5 Cheese Blend Macaroni & Cheese
  • Kroger® Brand Classic Garden Salad
  • Kroger® Brand Traditional Favorites Frozen Broccoli Cuts
  • Kroger® Brand Russet Potatoes (5 lb bag)
  • Del Monte® Golden Sweet Canned Cream Corn
  • Rhodes Dinner Rolls
  • Bakery Fresh Fruit Pies (assorted varieties)

The kit covers nearly everything needed for a festive Easter meal. One notable omission? Eggs.

With the ongoing avian flu outbreak impacting poultry farms nationwide, the absence may come as no surprise.

Kroger has responded by importing millions of eggs and supporting vaccine development to help stabilize supply.

Kroger is also enhancing convenience through its delivery services. Shoppers can have their Easter meal delivered within two hours via Instacart for a flat fee of $6.95.

In a rush? An express 30-minute delivery is available with a $10 minimum order. First-time customers placing a $75+ order can even save $15.

With poultry shortages affecting grocery aisles coast to coast, Kroger's efforts offer more than just savings—they provide consistency and comfort during a season where many want to focus on time spent together, not time spent waiting in long lines.

Kroger’s Fresh Lane blog adds another layer to the Easter experience. It features helpful holiday guides, including:
  • The Ultimate Guide to Ham, complete with cooking tips and a portion calculator
  • Best Carrot Cake Ever, featuring traditional recipes and modern takes
  • Easter basket-building tips for all ages, from classic to creative
