The band’s loyal fanbase is no stranger to heartbreak. In 2021, they mourned the loss of another beloved member, Dusty Hill.

Fans shared emotional memories at the time, recalling how the band’s music had been woven into the most cherished moments of their lives. “I was born in the early 70's and grew up listening to ZZ Top with my dad. RIP Mr Hill,” one person reflected.

Another recalled, “I'm genuinely sad about this. My husband and I went to a ZZ Top concert for our first date. Oct. 1999.”
