Man’s $15 Taco Bell hack shows how to order the perfect haul

There are moments when an ordinary craving leads to something unexpected, and a familiar place suddenly feels new again.

Sometimes it takes a little creativity and persistence to unlock a better experience where most people see the same old routine.

Fast food, with its quick comfort and low cost, often hides opportunities for value that only appear when someone takes the time to figure them out.

One comedian has now done just that, breaking down how to turn a small budget into a full-blown feast.

TikToker and comedian Ben Jones recently shared his carefully calculated Taco Bell order, showing fans how to get a complete spread for less than $15.

He told PEOPLE, “I developed my system through trial and error after many late nights of getting done from doing stand-up shows and having a huge appetite with limited cash.”

“I eventually fine-tuned it into the miracle feast that it is...and a big thanks to Taco Bell for being one of the few fast food chains still offering value.”

“I feel like they’ve always had my (big) back.” His video walked through each step using the Taco Bell app, which he praised for deals and rewards.

Jones made clear that his goal was more than just saving money—it was eating “with complete, reckless abandon.”

The system begins with the Supreme Luxe Box, which includes a medium fountain drink, a Chicken Chalupa Supreme, a burrito, a crunchy taco, and chips with cheese sauce.

Jones immediately recommended avoiding the $9 Discovery Luxe Box, saying, “It’s got a promotional item, it’s whatever they’re trying to hawk at that point and time.”

“It’s not that great of a deal.” He also noted that while the Classic Luxe Box is solid, the amount of food doesn’t make for a truly satisfying haul.

To build it up, he swapped the drink for a large Baja Blast and exchanged the chips and cheese for cinnamon twists, reaching $7.30 in cost at that point.

Jones then expanded the order by adding items from the Cravings tab, including a Chicken Enchilada and Loaded Beef Nachos.

“The Loaded Beef Nachos are a great deal,” he explained. “It’s like half the price of a Nachos BellGrande and it’s almost as much food. It’s a nice variety of stuff.”

By this stage, the total hit $12.78, leaving enough room to add one more crunchy taco. That addition brought the final price to $14.67 before tax, completing what he described as a balanced meal that touches nearly every part of Taco Bell’s menu.

The final haul included multiple tacos, a burrito, a Chicken Chalupa Supreme, nachos, a Chicken Enchilada, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a large drink, and cinnamon twists for dessert.

Jones called it a lineup that proves how much food can be stretched from a modest budget when ordering smart.

He also reminded viewers to check the app’s Rewards tab before completing the purchase, since free items like Doritos Locos Tacos or Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes may appear.

Prices can vary depending on location, but overall, the method shows how much value is possible when approaching the menu with a plan.
