I was lost in Patterson, NJ at 12:30am trying to get to the interstate & saw a state patrol officer so stopped to question him. He came to the car window & leaned down. I asked, “How do I pick up I-80?” He thought a moment & responded,
“With some heavy equipment.” Have never forgotten him! LOL

I used to pump gas at a gas station. Sometimes people would ask for directions. If the asked nicely and were polite they were able to get to where they were going if they followed the directions.
If they were nasty and huffy I sent them in the wrong direction first to than head correctly where they needed to go.
