Mt. Everest's Cell Network
Did you know you can get cell phone service on Mount Everest? Several cell towers have been installed in the surrounding areas to provide coverage, including high-speed 4G networks in some parts of the mountain. Nepal's Ncell network, for example, established a 3G tower near Everest's base camp in 2010, and since then, connectivity has only improved. What are some of YOUR fun facts?
