National Unicorn Day
Did you know Scotland has a National Unicorn Day? It’s on April 9th every year!
Unicorns have been a part of Scotland’s history for centuries, going way back to Celtic mythology. In those old stories, the unicorn stood for purity, innocence, strength, and power—qualities that still mean a lot today. The unicorn’s ties to bravery and chivalry are probably why it became Scotland’s national animal. While the unicorn may be mythical, the values it represents really capture the spirit of the Scottish people. Isn't that fascinating?
