1850: First National Women’s Rights Convention Held
The landmark meeting in Worcester, Massachusetts, brought together activists calling for equal legal and political rights for women.

1915: Women’s Suffrage March Drew 25,000 in New York
Led by Anna Howard Shaw and Carrie Chapman Catt, thousands of supporters paraded down Fifth Avenue to demand the vote for women.

1923: Patent Issued for Monkey Bars
US Patent No. 1,471,465 was granted to inventor Sebastian Hinton for his playground climbing structure, later known as the monkey bars.

1925: Johnny Carson Was Born
(1925 – 2005) The king of late-night television who hosted The Tonight Show for three decades, pioneering the talk-show format with a band and guest couch.

1932: The Fred Allen Show Premiered on Radio
The witty comedy program debuted, making Allen one of America’s most beloved radio personalities.

1941: Disney Released Dumbo
The animated classic told the story of a ridiculed circus elephant who discovers he can fly, becoming one of Disney’s most enduring films.
