One-Pan Orecchiette Pasta

Dinner doesn’t get much simpler—or tastier—than this One-Pan Orecchiette Pasta. With sausage, tomatoes, and spinach all simmered together in one skillet, this is a hearty and comforting meal with easy cleanup. Perfect for busy weeknights when flavor still matters. 🍝

Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 (16-ounce) package of orecchiette pasta
  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 cups baby spinach leaves
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in the orecchiette, diced tomatoes (with their juice), chicken broth, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and the liquid has mostly reduced. Stir occasionally.
  6. Add the spinach and cook until just wilted, about 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy the hearty, one-pan goodness.
