Growing up just 1 hour from Los Angeles, I was able to participate in a couple of fun school outings. When I was 9 years old, the members of our class with the best grades were taken to the Hollywood premiere of The Sound of Music! When I was 12, I got to attend another school function which was going to the Hollywood premiere of 2001 A Space Odyssey! Wow did we ever feel special!!
