Let’s be honest: Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday, but it can also be a marathon of meal preparations, kitchen chaos, and a mountain of dirty dishes.
If the thought of basting a turkey at dawn or wrangling with pie crusts makes you want to run for the hills, you’re not alone! More and more Americans—especially those who’ve earned stripes in the kitchen—are choosing to let the pros handle the heavy lifting. And why not?
This year, some of your favorite restaurants are rolling out the red carpet with delicious, ready-to-serve Thanksgiving feasts you can enjoy at home, minus the stress.
Whether you’re hosting a crowd, planning a cozy dinner for two, or just want to skip the grocery store lines, we’ve rounded up the best Thanksgiving takeout options.
So, pour yourself a glass of wine, put your feet up, and let’s explore how you can have your turkey—and eat it too—without ever turning on the oven.
Bob Evans: Farmhouse feasts for every family

Bob Evans is a classic for a reason, and their “Farmhouse Feast” is a crowd-pleaser that takes the guesswork out of holiday planning.
You can pre-order a feast with either ham or turkey (or both!) to feed four, eight, or even up to ten hungry guests.
Each meal comes with all the trimmings: bread & celery dressing, corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham, cranberry relish, rolls, and pumpkin pie.
Prices start at $89.99 for a four-person ham feast and go up to $164.99 for the “Premium Farmhouse Feast”, which includes both main dishes, macaroni and cheese, and an apple pie for dessert.
If you’re looking for something a bit smaller, the “Holiday Hot Family Meal” serves six and includes both turkey and ham, plus sides, for $109.99.
And for those who want a little bit of everything, the “Premium Celebration Platter” offers turkey, ham, and sides in individual portions.
Just remember: orders must be placed by November 25!
Cracker Barrel: Southern comfort, no apron required
Cracker Barrel is synonymous with comfort food, and their “Thanksgiving Heat & Serve” meals are no exception. Choose from two options:
- Family Dinner (feeds 4-6): Oven-roasted turkey breast, sweet potato casserole, green beans, cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry relish, and rolls.
- Feast (feeds 8-10): Double the turkey, plus mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans, cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry relish, rolls, and both pumpkin and pecan pies.
Meals start at $114.99 and are available for pickup beginning November 22.
All you have to do is heat, serve, and accept the compliments.
Denny’s: The diner classic, delivered
If you’re craving a no-fuss, classic Thanksgiving meal, Denny’s has you covered with their “Turkey Bundle”.
Starting at just $54.99, you’ll get turkey breast, savory stuffing, red-skinned mashed potatoes, your choice of corn or broccoli, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce.
The bundle is available for pickup from November 21 to 26, and you can order 24 hours in advance. Perfect for a small gathering or a last-minute holiday rescue!
Maggiano’s Little Italy: Italian flair meets Thanksgiving tradition

If you're looking to bring a touch of Italian flavor to your Thanksgiving celebration, Maggiano’s Little Italy has you covered with carryout bundles (available hot or cold) that serve four to five guests.
The menu is a feast for the senses: Caesar salad, roasted turkey with gravy and sage and sausage stuffing, smoked ham with whipped sweet potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, four-cheese ravioli, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry relish, pumpkin praline cheesecake, chocolate layered cake, and freshly baked bread.
Cold bundles are priced at $210 and can be picked up on November 26, while hot bundles cost $220 and will be ready for pickup on November 27. A sides-only option is also available for $50.
Online ordering begins November 20, though early orders can be placed by calling your local restaurant directly.

Popeyes: Spice up your holiday with cajun turkey
If you’re looking to shake up tradition, Popeyes’ cajun-style turkey is a showstopper.
This seasoned, juicy bird is pre-cooked and ready to heat, bringing a little Louisiana heat to your holiday table.
You can pre-order through the Popeyes app, website, or at participating locations.
The turkey is $54.99 for in-store pickup or $99 shipped to your door.
Last year, these birds sold out fast, so don’t wait if you want to add some cajun flair to your feast!
Other tips for a stress-free Thanksgiving

- Check pickup times: Each restaurant has specific pickup windows—mark your calendar!
- Add your own touch: Want to make it feel homemade? Add a family-favorite side or dessert, or set the table with your best china.
- Share the love: If you know someone who can’t cook this year, consider surprising them with a delivered meal.
Let's be honest about what Thanksgiving cooking really involves: days of planning, hours on your feet, a kitchen that looks like a tornado hit it, and the very real possibility that something will go wrong at the worst possible moment.
Meanwhile, your guests are relaxing in the living room, blissfully unaware of the culinary ballet happening behind the scenes.
