Quote Of The Day 05.30.25
“Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.”
- Mark Twain

I’ve been thinking about this since I turned a year older just a couple of weeks ago: age isn’t just about numbers—it’s about attitude. Sure, the knees might creak a little louder and the calendar pages may fly by a bit faster, but how we feel often has more to do with curiosity, joy, and spirit than the year we were born.
Sometimes it’s dancing in the kitchen for no reason. Or saying “why not?” to dessert. Or signing up for a painting class in your seventies just because you’ve always loved color.
My grandmother lived to 92, and I still remember how she’d dress up and wear her pearls—even on our regular visits at home. She used to say it made her feel nice, and that has always stayed with me.
What’s something you do that makes you feel young and reminds you that age really is just a number? We’d love to hear it—share your story in the comments below!
