Refreshing Carrot & Citrus Juice

Ingredients:

1 pound carrots, tops removed
2 clementines, peeled (or 1 large orange)
1 inch piece of fresh ginger

Instructions:
  1. If your juicer has two speeds, set it to high.
  2. Feed the carrots, clementines, and ginger into the juicer chute. Use the tamper to gently press the ingredients against the blades. Repeat this until all the carrots, oranges, and ginger are juiced. (Tip: For easier juicing, place the ginger between a few carrots to prevent it from flying around or getting stuck in the pulp basket.)
  3. Enjoy your juice right away for the best flavor and maximum nutrients.
  4. If you have leftovers, pour the juice into an airtight container, filling it to the top, and secure the lid to minimize oxidation. Try to drink any remaining juice within 24 hours for optimal taste.
