This roasted cauliflower steak recipe is simple, tasty, and a great way to enjoy a healthy veggie dish with a crispy, flavorful finish. Perfect for a light meal or a delicious side that pairs well with just about anything!

Ingredients:

1 head of cauliflower, trimmed
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (or more to taste)
¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place the cauliflower on a cutting board with the stem-side up, then cut vertically into 4 evenly thick steaks. Arrange the steaks on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower steaks and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Flip the steaks with a spatula and continue roasting for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender in the center and lightly browned on the edges.
