Rules are rules!
Hospital rules require all patients to leave in a wheelchair, no exceptions. One day, a student nurse found an elderly gentleman already dressed, suitcase in hand, insisting he didn’t need help to leave. After some convincing about "rules being rules," he agreed to let her wheel him to the elevator. On the way down, she asked if his wife would be meeting him. He replied with a shrug, “I’m not sure—she’s still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown!”
