That’s not a typo—forty cents! The catch? This deal is only available on Thursday, August 21, from 6 am to 11:59 pm local time, and it’s exclusively for members of their Inner Circle loyalty program.

Why the sudden generosity? According to Louise Warner, Circle K’s executive vice president of operations for North America, the back-to-school season can be a financial strain for many families.

“We want to be a trusted member of the communities we serve, so we are pleased to make it a little easier for families with great savings all day at the pump as well as the everyday value of Inner Circle,” Warner said in a recent news release.

How to Snag the Savings​

Getting your hands on this deal is refreshingly simple. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Join the Inner Circle: If you’re not already a member, sign up for Circle K’s Inner Circle loyalty program. It’s free, and you can do it online or at your local Circle K.
2. Fuel Up on August 21: Head to a participating Circle K fuel location between 6 am and 11:59 pm local time.
3. Enter Your Phone Number: At the pump or inside the store, enter the phone number associated with your Inner Circle account before you pay.
4. Enjoy the Discount: Watch the price per gallon drop by 40 cents. (Note: This is a one-time use offer, so make it count!)

Everyday Perks of the Inner Circle​

Even if you can’t make it on August 21, joining the Inner Circle still pays off.

Members save 3 cents per gallon every day, and if you spend $500 on gas, food, or beverages at Circle K, you’ll be upgraded to Premium Member status—bumping your savings to 5 cents per gallon.
