For six days straight—from Tuesday, August 5 through Monday, August 11—Burger King is offering a free Whopper with any $1 purchase, once per day, to anyone who links their Burger King Royal Perks and Walmart+ accounts.

This limited-time promotion celebrates the one-year anniversary of the companies’ partnership and offers up to six free Whoppers in total.

According to Burger King, “the deal is only available for shoppers who are members of both Walmart+ and Burger King Royal Perks programs.” The offer cannot be used with delivery orders and is not available during breakfast hours, except at select locations.

To redeem, customers must first download both the Burger King and Walmart apps on their mobile devices.


Once logged in to both apps, users should navigate to “Walmart+ membership” within the Walmart app and find the “Burger King Savings” option.

When selected, the app will automatically prompt them to open the Burger King app and link the accounts. After linking, users can visit the “Offers” tab in the BK app to activate the deal, use a 6-digit code in-store, or place a pickup order online at bk.com.

While the Whopper is the main attraction, a minimum $1 purchase is required to qualify each day. A small fries, fountain drink, or dessert item will satisfy this condition and allow the offer to activate.

“Each account is limited to one free Whopper per day,” the company emphasized in its statement. Customers cannot use this promotion in conjunction with other offers, and rewards points can still be earned on qualifying purchases.



Walmart+ is a paid subscription that offers delivery perks, fuel discounts, and early access to sales, starting at $12.95/month or $98/year.

Burger King’s Royal Perks is a free loyalty program that lets users earn "crowns" on purchases, which can be redeemed for menu items.

This partnership aims to provide added value to users of both programs while increasing engagement.

Last year’s joint promotion gave Walmart+ members 25% off Burger King digital orders and a free Whopper every three months.
