Self-Paying Windows
Last year, I replaced all the windows in my house with those pricey, energy-efficient double-pane ones. Just this week, the contractor called, complaining that it had been a whole year, and I still hadn’t paid for them.
Well, we had quite the back-and-forth! I reminded him of what his smooth-talking sales guy told me a year ago—that the windows would pay for themselves in a year. After a long pause on his end, I simply hung up. Haven’t heard from him since—guess he didn’t have a comeback for that one!
