"Shook"​

These days, the younger crowd says they’re "shook" when they’re really shocked, surprised, or deeply affected by something.

I was definitely shook when I heard the concert announcement from my favorite artist—didn’t see that one coming!

I think that 'I was 'shook' yesterday when I visited my optometrist and was told that I was losing my eyesight in my left eye. I already have no sight in my right eye. However, I knew things was changing, but what really 'shook' me was, not can help it or stop it and repair it..

Weathermen had been warning a week out, but it was hard to believe them! I had a horrible toothache that week so it was hard to enjoy it. I did go out for a few minutes.

It’s a shame you had a toothache at the same time—bad timing for sure. Hopefully, you’re feeling better now! At least you got to step outside for a bit and take it in.
