Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 (1 inch thick) bone-in pork chops
Directions:
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each pork chop, pressing gently to help it adhere.
  4. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  5. Grill the pork chops over direct heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let the chops rest for a few minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
