I retired on SSD in 2008. When I turned 65 I was told by SS that my checks would automatically convert to regular SS...so I don't understand anything about Seniors getting this large payout for SSD for which they are no longer eligible..Please clarify

I agree. I'm at a loss also. I had to take early Disability in 2012 and also was informed a couple of years later that when i turned 65 it would "roll over" to regular Social Security. I inquired at the SS Office....they agreed that this was true and offered NO explanation as to any increase at this time regarding what date my check was posted (2012) or how it connected to an increased check. I wish you well. We are in the dark here.
