Sunday Classics 06.22.2025
Hey, GrayViners!
Thanks to everyone who voted and shared their favorites last week—it’s always a treat walking down memory lane with all of you. This week’s Sunday Classic comes is suggested by GrayViner @Hazeleyes , who clearly knows a thing or two about timeless tunes. The winner is… “Evergreen” by Barbra Streisand!

This soft, sweeping love song first melted hearts in 1976 as the theme for A Star Is Born, and it’s been making eyes misty ever since. Fun fact: “Evergreen” won both an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy for Song of the Year. Barbra co-wrote it herself (alongside Paul Williams), making her the first woman to ever win an Oscar for composing music. Not bad for a tune that starts with just a gentle guitar strum and a whisper!
Ready to pick next week’s winner? Drop your Sunday Classic song suggestions in the comments below. The one with the most reactions will be crowned in next week’s newsletter! Let’s keep the good music (and good memories) coming.

Cheers!
Blue
