Attention, road warriors and drivers alike!
If you're cruising in a Ford, Cadillac, or Nissan, you might want to pull over and read this.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has waved the red flag on over 160,000 vehicles, and yours could be one of them. It's time to ensure your trusty steed isn't hiding a potentially dangerous defect.
Recalls are a serious business. They're issued when a manufacturer or the NHTSA determines that a vehicle, equipment, car seat, or tire creates an unreasonable safety risk or fails to meet minimum safety standards.
Most decisions to conduct a recall and remedy a safety defect are made voluntarily by manufacturers prior to any involvement by NHTSA.
From March 31 to April 6, the NHTSA published several recalls that could affect your peace of mind and safety on the road.
Here's the lowdown on the latest recalls and what you need to know to keep your wheels turning safely.
