This fall, the retailer is adding seven new stores across the country, and they’re far from ordinary.

These locations are larger, packed with new features, and designed to make errands faster and easier.

Whether you’re after groceries, pharmacy services, or simply a stroll down the home aisles, these new stores are built to deliver more.


Target isn’t just opening a handful of new stores—they’re laying the groundwork for a retail revolution.

The company has announced plans to build over 300 new locations in the next decade, and these October openings are just the beginning.

What sets these new stores apart? For starters, six out of the seven are even larger than Target’s already-spacious 125,000-square-foot average.

That means more room for everything you love, plus some exciting new features designed to make shopping easier, faster, and more fun.


These new stores are designed to be local fulfillment hubs, making same-day services like Drive Up and Target Circle 360 even more convenient.

Imagine ordering online and having your groceries, electronics, and even a latte from Starbucks brought right to your car—rain or shine, thanks to covered pickup lanes.

Inside, you’ll find expanded grocery sections (some with a whopping 16,000 square feet dedicated to fresh produce, meat, and dairy), plus branded shop-in-shops featuring Apple, Disney, CVS Pharmacy, and Starbucks.

Some locations even include Target Optical, so you can update your look and your prescription in one trip.

1. Arizona​

37854 N Gantzel Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85140

• Opens October 12, 2025
• Target’s second store in Queen Creek and 48th in Arizona
• 46,000 square feet, hiring about 160 people
• Features: Drive Up, Order Pickup, Target Circle 360, Apple at Target, CVS, Disney, Starbucks, Target Optical, and a massive fresh grocery section

2. California​

205 South Clovis Avenue, Fresno, CA 93727

• Opens October 19, 2025
• Fresno Fancher Creek store, 148,000 square feet, over 200 employees
• Features: Canopied Drive Up, Order Pickup, Target Circle 360, Apple at Target, CVS, Disney,
• Starbucks, and 13,000 square feet of fresh groceries

3. Florida​

• Opens October 12, 2025
• First Target in Grand Island, 148,000 square feet, 140 team members
