The Denver Omelet
This dish will give your breakfast a protein-packed punch with a combo of fluffy eggs, sweet peppers, smoky ham, and melty cheese.

Ingredients:
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
- ¼ cup chopped cooked ham
- ¼ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and green bell pepper, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the ham and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in the egg mixture and let cook until the edges begin to set.
- Gently lift edges with a spatula to allow uncooked egg to flow underneath.
- When the omelet is mostly set, sprinkle cheese over one half.
- Fold the omelet in half and cook until the cheese melts.
- Slide onto a plate and serve hot.
