The oldest dog ever reliably documented was a female Australian cattle dog named Bluey, who lived to the impressive age of 29 years and 5 months. Bluey was adopted as a puppy in 1910 by Les Hall in Australia and spent nearly two decades working with cattle and sheep. She passed away on November 14, 1939.
