Venus In Retrograde
Did you know that Venus spins in the opposite direction of most planets in our solar system? It's a phenomenon known as retrograde rotation. While most planets, including Earth, rotate counterclockwise when viewed from above their north pole, Venus rotates clockwise. What makes this even more intriguing is that Venus’s rotation is incredibly slow. A single day on Venus (one full rotation) takes about 243 Earth days, which is even longer than its year, as it takes 225 Earth days to complete an orbit around the Sun. Got fun facts for us?
