Wall-Mounted Telephones

Wall-mounted telephones were a staple of many households in the 1970s. Family members would gather around, taking turns to chat, with the phone cord stretching across rooms and sometimes even creating playful entanglements. Ah, a nostalgic slice of technology that evokes memories of simpler times and gadgets. Did you ever have a wall-mounted telephone? Share your memories of this in the comments below!

Our is pink, still has that loooong cord, and still works. I like to answer SPAM calls and tell them, "I can't press" whatever they want me to press. How do I do this on a rotary dial phone?" For some reason, this upsets those folks.
