Walmart offers free health services this weekend at over 4,600 stores

If you’ve been meaning to check in on your health but haven’t made the time, Walmart is making it easier—and more affordable—than ever.

This Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., more than 4,600 Walmart locations across the country will host a free Wellness Day event.

Shoppers can walk in for no-cost health screenings, vaccinations, and consultations with pharmacists, all without the need for insurance or appointments.

It’s part of Walmart’s ongoing effort to expand access to basic healthcare, particularly in communities where options may be limited.

Whether you’re interested in monitoring your blood pressure, getting your flu shot, or simply asking a question about your medications, this weekend offers an opportunity to prioritize your health at no cost.

  • Glucose screenings to track blood sugar levels.
  • Immunizations for flu, RSV, shingles, tetanus, and HPV.

Why Walmart is offering free screenings

Since 2014, Walmart’s Wellness Days have provided services to more than five million people across the US.

These events are designed to bring accessible, preventive healthcare directly into communities.

As Walmart notes, its pharmacists are among the most trusted local healthcare providers, and this program helps bridge gaps for those who might not otherwise receive care.

  • Prescription delivery now reaching over 93% of American households.
  • Private consultation rooms added to nearly 2,000 pharmacies, giving patients a more confidential space to discuss health needs.
