Ingredients:
- 2 cups ripe watermelon, cubed
- 1 cup cold water
- Juice of half a fresh lime
- 2 teaspoons agave syrup (or honey, if that’s what you’ve got on hand)
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil, finely chopped
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Pop the watermelon, water, lime juice, agave, and basil into your blender.
- Blend until smooth and sunset-pink.
- Want it a little lighter? Pour it through a fine mesh strainer to take out the pulp—it’ll be smoother, like a memory.
- Serve over ice in your favorite glass. Sip slowly, preferably with your feet up and a story on your mind.
