We All Deserve One
A guy had been pushing himself to move up in his career, but nothing seemed to be working. Feeling stuck, he finally set up a meeting with his boss to talk things over.
He sat down, took a breath, and said, “I think I deserve a raise. Three companies are after me.”
His boss looked alarmed. “Really? Which ones?”
The guy shrugged. “Gas, electric, and water.”
