What Are You Most Proud Of About Yourself?​

This is often a question that's difficult to answer, especially if we're talking about ourselves and our achievements. But I know we've all gone so far in life, and every time we overcome a difficult situation, we deserve to be celebrated! So, GrayViners, let me ask you this: What are you most proud of about yourself? Tell us in the comments and let's all spread a positive vibe in our growing community!

I'll start: I was told to set realistic dreams for myself because my teachers said I had no future as a writer. And look at me now, defying those harmful expectations, one newsletter at a time!

I'm proud that I was able to walk away from something that no longer works for me. I left my previous job, where I worked for 13years, and am now incredibly happy that I'm part of The GrayVine team and this lovely community!

Hi y'all and happy Wednesday! I don't usually toot my own horn but I'm very proud of the fact that I am almost 9 years sober after many years of heavy drinking. I hated myself and now I love myself! Since getting sober I have gotten remarried (I was a widow after 30 years of marriage) and I'm blessed to be able to take care of my 91 year old mother with dementia. She lives in our home with us and has for almost 3 years. Just proves that God wasn't ready for me to leave this earth yet because I still have things to do!
