World's Tallest Snowperson
The world's tallest snowperson, named Olympia, was built in Maine in 2008 and reached an impressive height of 122 feet and 1 inch! That's taller than most buildings!
It took over 13,000,000 pounds of snow to create Olympia, who had a 8-foot nose made of chicken wire and painted cheesecloth, and even a scarf that was 130 feet long! What a fun reminder of the winter creativity that can bring us together, especially during the holiday season. Have you ever built a snowman or participated in any winter contests?
