Hello GrayViners,
Sometimes these midweek moments call for a little check-in—a pause between errands, calls, or quiet afternoons just to say, “How are you doing?” I always find comfort in the little things, especially when the days feel long. Lately, that comfort has taken me straight to the kitchen trying new recipes, making old favorites, and occasionally setting off the smoke alarm (kidding! don’t worry, all are under control).
That brings me to today’s flavorful question: Would you rather give up salt or sugar in your cooking?


It’s not an easy decision! Salt brings out those rich, savory notes, while sugar has a way of turning simple dishes into warm, nostalgic bites.
If I had to choose… well, let’s just say my sweet tooth might have a strong opinion.
