This resumption could impact Social Security recipients, as up to 15% of benefits may be garnished to repay student loans under the Treasury Offset Program.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is also reinstating National Social Security Month in April, an awareness campaign first launched in 2019 but paused during the pandemic.
