Your guide to the best Labor Day 2025 restaurant deals and freebies across the US

As Americans prepare for the long Labor Day weekend, food chains across the country are rolling out deals that promise to make gatherings more affordable.

The holiday offers a chance for families to enjoy their favorite meals at discounted prices while also marking the unofficial end of summer.

Many restaurants are using the extended weekend as an opportunity to attract both dine-in guests and online orders. From wings to pizzas, there are options for nearly every taste.

Labor Day this year falls on Monday, September 2, 2025, and restaurants are already pushing offers that start as early as Friday.

This timing allows customers to take advantage of multiple days of savings, whether eating out or bringing food home for celebrations.

Daily Harvest is appealing to health-conscious diners with a 30% discount on orders of $100 or more for new customers using the code LABORDAY30.

Featured menu items include butternut squash with chimichurri, cauliflower mac and cheese, and sesame fried rice with edamame.

For those looking to pair fun with food, Dave & Buster’s is offering a $5 bites menu during the holiday. Choices include nachos, fried pickles, cheese flatbread, and queso fries, and rewards members can also earn bonuses with Power Card purchases of $20 or more.

Italian-American chain Fazoli’s is running a deal of $10 off orders of $30 or more with promo code LABORDAY25. The offer is valid throughout the weekend for online orders, giving families a low-cost option for pasta favorites.

Sports fans may head to Hooters, which is combining its food specials with the start of the football season. The restaurant is offering members of its Hootclub loyalty program $10 off orders of $40 or more, along with a buy-10-wings-get-10-free deal.

KFC is focusing on group meals with a new lineup of sharing packs. Deals include a 40-piece saucy nugget party pack, 50% off chicken sandwiches, and 40% off a 12-piece bone-in chicken bucket.

Buffalo Wild Wings is celebrating both Labor Day and International Bacon Day, which falls on the Saturday of the holiday weekend.

Special menu items include a bacon mac and cheese burger, bacon patty melt, and BLT sandwiches. Customers can also claim 10 free boneless bacon wings with a $15 purchase using the promo code GOBONELESS.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is offering $5 off purchases of $15 or more, with the deal available from Friday through Monday. To access it, customers must download the Freddy’s app by the Wednesday before the holiday.

Pizza lovers can look to Mountain Mike’s, which is giving 15% off all pizzas on September 2 with the code LBRDAY25. Meanwhile, Kona Grill is focusing on honoring teachers and first responders by offering them 50% off meals, excluding alcohol, across the weekend.

The restaurant’s happy hour menu also includes $3, $6, and $9 items, giving customers more options to celebrate without overspending. These discounts highlight how restaurant chains use Labor Day not only to attract customers but also to recognize community members.

While deals are the focus for many, the holiday itself carries a history rooted in workers’ rights and the labor movement. The first Labor Day parade was held in New York City in the 1880s, and the holiday gained federal recognition in 1894.

Today, the day is known for cookouts, parades, and gatherings, with surveys showing most people celebrate either at home or by eating out. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Americans consume nearly 7 billion hot dogs, underlining just how tied the holiday is to food traditions.
