This new burger is giving McDonald’s Quarter Pounder a run for its money–Find out where!

The battle of the burgers is heating up, and there's a new heavyweight contender stepping into the ring.

Chili's Grill & Bar, a beloved staple in the casual dining scene, is shaking up the fast-food hierarchy with a mouthwatering creation that's poised to go head-to-head with the iconic McDonald’s Quarter Pounder.

Get ready to loosen your belt a notch, because the Big QP burger is here, and it's making a sizzling statement.

Chili's isn't just tossing another burger onto their menu; they're launching a full-fledged flavor offensive.

The Big QP burger is the latest addition to their “3 for Me” lineup, and it's a heavyweight in its own right.

George Felix, Chili's Chief Marketing Officer, couldn't contain his excitement in a recent press release, stating, “We believe Chili's 3 For Me menu, starting at just $10.99, has been the best value in the industry since we introduced it in 2022, and we just made it even better with the new Big QP burger, featuring a fast food flavor profile our guests will recognize.”

So, what's in this burger that's causing such a stir? The Big QP is a towering assembly of two slices of American cheese, tangy mustard, classic ketchup, crunchy pickles, and finely diced onions.

But the real knockout punch? Chili's claims it packs 85 percent more beef than the Quarter Pounder. That's a lot of extra meat for your buck!

The “3 for Me” Menu: More Bang for Your Buck
Chili's “3 for Me” menu is like a choose-your-own-adventure book for foodies.

Starting at $10.99, it's a customizable meal deal that begins with appetizers like bottomless chips and salsa, a house salad, or a cup of their signature soups—Chicken Enchilada or Baked Potato.

Sweeten the Deal with Dessert
No meal is complete without a little something sweet, and Chili's has you covered. For an additional $3.99, you can treat yourself to a slice of Cheesecake or a Mini Chocolate Molten Cake.

It's the perfect way to cap off a feast that's sure to satisfy even the most voracious appetites.

The Price Point Perspective
While the Big QP meal isn't undercutting the McDonald’s Quarter Pounder combo, which typically ranges from $5 to $7 for a medium fry and drink, it's offering a competitive edge with its value-packed deal.

As a 68 year old lady I am not looking for a larger burger. So I probably will not try it. Very often I want a burger and order something else because the burgers on the menu are 1/3 or even 1/2 pound burgers. I honestly want something smaller. 1/4 pound at the most. Different toppings, great! Different sides, great! I don’t want to eat part of it and throw away the rest. Too much waste.

This is a very valid preference, @Reneec! Personally, I feel like extra large servings are too much sometimes too. Let's hope that more establishments provide us with options, especially if we want smaller servings :giggle: Maybe you could try sharing with a loved one, for now? Savor the food and the good company 🤍
