Getting pots/dirt ready to plant flowers for my patio and praying the squirrels will leave them alone. Last year they destroyed them
Getting everything prepped for a colorful patio sounds like such a lovely way to ease into spring! Hopefully, you were able to get some flowers planted without too much squirrel mischief. Did you try anything different this time to keep them at bay? Those little rascals can be determined! 😄

Out looking for and finding bluebonnets!
What a wonderful tradition @zofyzee ! Bluebonnets are such a stunning sign that spring has truly arrived. I bet your outings back then were filled with color and sunshine. Do you have a favorite spot where you go looking for them each year? Or did you discover any new places this time around?

I have been washing pots for plants and finding a place to plant sunflowers! I have so many trees it's hard to find some sun! (that isn't already being used) Adding to my butterfly collection as soon as son fixes car! Needs new water pump. He and neighbor got a lot of the front trees trimmed. Wish it would rain so my water barrel would fill up some more!
Sounds like you've been wonderfully busy this spring! Washing pots, planning for sunflowers, and trimming trees — what a full (and rewarding!) to-do list. Hopefully by now your son’s car is back in action so you can get back to adding to that butterfly collection. 🌻 With all the effort you've put into your garden back in April, has the space started to open up a bit more for those sun-loving plants? And fingers crossed you’ve had some rain since then to top up that water barrel!

I get excited to pick out and plant my flowers. I love this time of the year.
There really is something special about that early spring excitement, isn’t there? Picking out flowers and imagining how they’ll bloom is such a joyful part of the season. Do you have any favorites that you always go back to, or did you try something new this past April?

Repotting my indoor plants. I have a. Lot of snake plants and they need to be separated and repotted. I did half of them so far. Need to purchase some more pots.
Also redoing the front of the house. Going to put a flower garden there .
You’ve been busy @Hazeleyes ! Snake plants are such hardy, beautiful things — it must feel great to get a good start on repotting them. Hopefully by now you’ve been able to find some more pots to finish the job! How’s the flower garden project out front coming along since April? I’d love to hear what you decided to plant there!

I am awaiting the planter boxes that I ordered to finish the front . I have the other pots but have not finished transplanting the snake plants yet. Trying to figure where to put them once I transplant them. I already gave 4 plants away. I have way too many.
