Happy Tuesday, GrayViners! I (Ally) hope this newsletter finds you happy this morning. Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and I wanted to ask: What’s one piece of advice your mom (or mother figure!) gave you that you still carry to this day? I'd love to hear all about it.
When I was a kid, I got into a lot of fights (I know, I was a very troublesome child), and one day my mom had one too many visits to the principal’s office so she sat me down and told me: “There’s nothing wrong with fighting for yourself, but there are many different ways to go about it.” I remember these words every day, and live a very peaceful life because of it!
