No I really do not remember the sound of his voice. It was so long ago, back in early 90’s when he passed away. That’s such a lovely memory—“Morning. Get up. Time to eat.” sounds like the perfect little feathered alarm clock! It’s funny how they’ll pick up some phrases so easily and completely ignore others. Do you still remember the sound of his voice? Thanks so much for sharing that special story with us @Hazeleyes .
It has been a while. Still glad to know you have this wonderful memory about him. Thanks for always joining the conversation @Hazeleyes ! Appreciate you so much!No I really do not remember the sound of his voice. It was so long ago, back in early 90’s when he passed away.
Thanks for sharing @lavender3 — your parrot would definitely be doing a public service announcement with that one!Don't go in the kitchen...my dog likes to "look" in the trashcan
It's a saying my Mawmaw in Mississippi used to say. She could be a real hoot at times! Yes, I use it sometimes and it does turn heads!“Oh Sweet Sugar!”—what a fun and unique phrase! I can just hear a parrot saying it with flair every time something surprising happens. Is that a saying you use often, or did it just pop into your head when we asked the question? Thanks for sharing such a sweet (and slightly sassy!) response @sadieclayladie !
