Good morning or good evening!
“Good morning or good evening!”—such a polite and versatile phrase for a parrot to pick up! 🦜 It’d be lovely to be greeted like that no matter the time of day. Did you have that in mind as a friendly habit, or was it something you were hearing or saying often when we first asked? Thanks for sharing this warm and welcoming choice @julie Helms !

That’s such a lovely memory—“Morning. Get up. Time to eat.” sounds like the perfect little feathered alarm clock! 🦜☀️ It’s funny how they’ll pick up some phrases so easily and completely ignore others. Do you still remember the sound of his voice? Thanks so much for sharing that special story with us @Hazeleyes .
No I really do not remember the sound of his voice. It was so long ago, back in early 90’s when he passed away.

Don't go in the kitchen...my dog likes to "look" in the trashcan
Thanks for sharing @lavender3 — your parrot would definitely be doing a public service announcement with that one! 😄 Sounds like your dog has a bit of a sneaky streak. What kind of dog do you have, and has the trashcan “inspections” been a long-time habit?
