I can’t narrow it down to one flower. My first flower love was daisies. We married in 1972. I had daisies woven into my hair. We spent 20 years in the Air Force in North Dakota. We lived in the country where going to and from the base, we had miles of sunflowers on both sides of the highway. I...
A couple of things come to mind. Serving the Air Force in North Dakota had certain perks. If the squadron Commander approved it myself and others were flown on a B52 to Orlando Florida and Dallas/Fort Worth Texas. They were called Insentive Flights as a reward for going above and beyond while...
Playing my trumpet! I started playing in the 6th grade. It was handed down by my deceased Uncle. I was overjoyed to have his instrument! I continued to play through my military service and practiced and played for primarily for myself. That is until it was stolen a couple of years ago. 🎺
My heart melted seeing this photo! My husband of just shy of 53 years, were veterans. I love and appreciate the love and tenderness shown by our American military! Thanks for sharing this post! 🫡 🇺🇸 ☮️

I don’t much care if red sauce is with meat plain or with...
I watched my mom get away from her natural red hair to a Champaign color. I didn’t like it after that. I vowed I would never dye my strawberry blonde hair. Now the majority of my hair is on the gray side. I’m fine with that! When the bright colors were popular I still had no desire for a hair...
We didn’t have a fancy toy like this. We used a small cup in the middle of the kitchen table. We tried to get our tiddledywinks ( kinda the size of poker chips ), would take one and try to flip the one on the table into the cup! A bunch of hours went by while playing this game.
