It’s a car with a convertible top. When I got my drivers license I had a 1963 Chevy Impala convertible. That was great! However it did not always convert as it were! I had to drive around getting soaked by rain when the top wouldn’t come up! I would put my right arm on the passenger side and pretend that I wanted to drive like that. Not my choice. The trunk was rusted out so I couldn’t carry a spare tire. Part of the floorboard was also rusted out. I couldn’t even put it in the back seat because with the top not up, someone could steal my spare.
The best thing in my ragtop was the bench seats front and back. I wish we could have them today! They were more comfortable and I could stretch out in the back seat when I didn’t have a place to sleep safely.
