Our African Gray parrot, Mia, knows when her mom and I are relaxing. My wife will be looking at Tik Tok and I’ll be reading articles on my tablet.

That’s when she comes down from her cage and climbs up on the couch so that I can scratch her head and neck.

And she won’t take “no” for an answer!

Mia sounds like such a character—and so smart, too! She knows exactly when it’s time for some head scratches! Pets really do know how to make themselves the center of attention, don’t they?
