A Plant "Wearing" Jewelry?

Those delicate greenish flowers belong to the running strawberry bush (Euonymus obovatus), a woodland groundcover found in shady forests across the Eastern US. In fall, it puts on an even flashier show—its fruit capsules burst open to reveal bright red seeds wrapped in pink, making it one of the most eye-catching native plants on the forest floor.
